The next word in my
study of the character of God is Salvation.
The thing that has struck me right off the bat is a new
realization.
We, or at least I
have always associated salvation with Heaven.
Eternity and all that. In reading
some of the Scriptures in the OT I realize that God is our salvation here on Earth
as well as into eternity.
What I mean by that
is God can save us from our enemies and tribulations right here on earth in a
very real way, not just down the road when we die.
If you remember, one
of my intentions when writing is to show the very real here and now benefits of
being a Christian. Well here you go!
