"…Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men."

I believe this is one of the biggest stumbling block to believers today.  That is why it is so important to be in the word everyday.  That helps you discern Scripture from the "doctrines of men".

 

Matthew 15:8-9(NKJV)

    ‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth,      And honor Me with their lips,     But their heart is far from Me.

    And in vain they worship Me,      Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’”
