It's tough to lead a "servant's heart" life.

Here is an instruction from Jesus.

Matthew 20:25-28(NKJV)

But Jesus called them to Himself and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those who are great exercise authority over them.

Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant.

And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave—

just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”

Living life with a servant heart can be tough; at least it can be for me.  I drive people around all day.  It's fun and I enjoy it for the most part.  I try to be helpful and serve the people I drive with a servants heart.

Where that gets tough for me is when people try to take advantage of my servants heart.  That just sets me on edge.  Why does it set me on edge?

What exactly does it mean to serve with a servants heart?  Does it mean that I should just happily accept being taken advantage of?  Does it mean I should accept being disrespected and walked all over?  Or is there a limit to servanthood?

These are some of the things I am going to be examining for myself in the next few days.
