"…must believe…" Whoa. What was that again?

Here is a verse that I am sure most are familiar with, at least the first part.  "But without faith it is impossible to please God.".  But have you ever noticed the rest of the verse?  I had not noticed it before.  Check it out.

Hebrews 11:6(NKJV)

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Something we must believe.  That God is.  And that God rewards whose who diligently seek Him.  Notice the diligently part.

If you have one person who studies Scripture on a regular basis year after year and you have another person who reads his Bible for a week every other year, which one is being diligent?  Which one do you think God is going to reward more?
