Interesting imagery
isn't it? When we stub our toes we think
of it as a minor thing. It hurts but
there usually aren't long lasting consequences.
Maybe this helps explain why so many people just casually and without
much thought reject Jesus. They see it
as a minor thing. Not a big deal. No long term consequences.
Scripture says
otherwise.
Matthew 21:43-44(NKJV)
“Therefore I say to
you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing
the fruits of it.
And whoever falls on this stone
will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder.”
