It's always nice to
have a safety valve.
1 Peter 4:8(NKJV)
And above all things
have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”
Now do I think love
alone will get you in to Heaven? No I
don't. That takes believing in Jesus and
inviting Him in to your life. Have you
done that yet? No better time than right
now. Just have a conversation with
Jesus. "Dear Jesus…."
But once salvation
is taken care of I think this is a great safety valve when you don't know what
else to do. Just love people. Love people by simply being courteous and
respectful to all. Love people by
getting them to smile and feel good.
Love people by showing them you care and trying to help them out. We are the hands and feet of Jesus after
all.
Now that doesn't
mean let people walk all over you and abuse you. If the love you give out is abused then take
appropriate steps. But always start with
love and move on from there.
