1 John 5:11-12(NKJV)
11And this is the testimony: that God has
given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
12He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son
of God does not have life.
These two verses
really distill it down don't they? God
says eternal life comes from his Son. If
we accept Jesus, we have eternal life. If
we reject Jesus, we don't.
But how do we know
that is true?
Well first off, notice the word used in verse 11. Testimony. Let's look at the definition.

You see God didn't
just tell us, he testified to the fact.
There is a difference. So what
each and every one of us has to do is determine whether we believe God's
testimony or not. If we don't believe
God's testimony then we are essentially saying that God is a liar.
So where do you
stand? Is God a liar or is His testimony
true? Is Jesus in your life? If not, why not ask Him in right now? Dear Jesus….
