Romans 15:13(NKJV)
Now may the God of
hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of
the Holy Spirit.
Abound in hope. I like the sound of that. But notice that it isn't just any old
hope. It is hope through the power of
the Holy Spirit. It's the hope in the
promises of Jesus that give us the power to keep on keeping on.
Not with just a
glimmer of hope or a sliver of hope.
Abound in hope. We serve a great
God. There is a surplus of hope to go
around if we will just grab on to it!
