I am currently doing
a word study on the word Eternal. The
most common usage in the Bible is eternal life which we also refer to as
salvation. We know that those who don't
choose eternal life through belief in Jesus choose instead to go to hell.
For some reason
though I had never that of hell in the context that it was the exact opposite
of eternal life. Eternal judgement. Hmm.
Hebrews 6:1-2(NKJV)
Therefore, leaving
the discussion of the elementary principles
of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of
repentance from dead works and of faith toward God,
of the doctrine of
baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
