When we talk about
the exclusivity of Christ we often hear that our belief is awfully closed
minded. There are many that believe that
Jesus is just one way to God. In fact
there is a bumper sticker that is familiar to most that says coexist.
But is that
Scriptural? The answer is no it is
not. The Bible tells us quite clearly in
more than one place that Jesus is the one and only way to be saved. Jesus is the one and only mediator between us
and God.
1 Timothy 2:3-6(NKJV)
3For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,
4who desires all men to be saved and to
come to the knowledge of the truth.
5For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,
6who gave Himself a ransom for
all, to be testified in due time,
Now each of us has
free will and can chose to believe that or not.
Each and every one of us will be held accountable for our decision. I believe it is the truth!
