I find the word
choices here interesting and feel a need to ponder them for a while.
2 Thessalonians 3:5(NKJV)
5Now may the Lord direct your hearts into
the love of God and
into the patience of
Christ.
I just wonder if
there is a deeper meaning here. Why was
love associated with God and not Jesus?
Why was patience associated with Jesus?
Just seems like there is more here than meets the eye. You know, that whole discernment thing!
But then again I think it was Freud who said "Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar!"
