Luke 22:27(NKJV)
27For who is greater, he who sits at the table, or he who serves? Is it not he who sits at the table? Yet I am
among you as the One who serves.
Just a short thought
for today. In the scripture above Christ
sets an example for us to follow, that of having a heart for service to
others. It's one of the most direct ways
that we show others the love of Jesus.
So here is a
question for you. Do you find serving
God to be an inconvenience sometimes?
Here is what I mean by that: Is
God getting in the way of other stuff you'd really rather be doing?
If your answer is
yes, Good For You! It shows you are
putting God first. If God isn't getting
in the way of some of the stuff you'd like to do, maybe you aren't making Him a
high enough priority. Just a thought.
