Does God refuse to hear some prayers? Pt. 2

Here is another verse to back up the verses I used the other day.  More proof that God doesn't hear and answer the prayers of evil doers. 

1 Peter 3:12(NKJV)

    For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,     And His ears are open to their prayers;      But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.” 

Who's prayers does God open his ears to?  The righteous.  So by extension that would mean that God doesn't open His ears and hear the prayers of the unrighteous. 

Sure is different from what is taught by those who believe in Kumbaya Jesus isn't it?
