One of the tenants
that I have always believed is that once saved, always saved, unless you
renounce your salvation. And even then
if you repented Christ would still take you back. This statement by Jesus makes me wonder.
Luke 9:62(NKJV)
62But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to
the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”
Does this mean that
if someone renounces their salvation, they don't get a second chance? Not that I'm thinking of renouncing or
anything. Just kind of curious.
