As always, the
answer is in Scripture.
Mark 9:49-50(NKJV)
“For everyone will be seasoned
with fire, and every sacrifice will be seasoned with salt.
Salt is good, but if the salt loses its flavor, how
will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace with one another.”
Everyone! Everyone will be seasoned by fire. Jesus didn't say almost everyone did He? He said "everyone!".
Now why is that you
may wonder? As I have said before, my
theory is that there are just certain life lesson that we can only learn
through the hard times. To deprive us of
the hard times would be depriving us of some of our best opportunities to grow.
