Simplicity

I've always been a big fan of simplicity.  I'm sure you've all seen the acronym KISS-Keep it simple stupid.  That's why this passage jumped out at me.

2 Corinthians 11:3(NKJV)

3But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the £simplicity that is in Christ. 

Pay attention to the warning here.  Paul is telling us that our walk with Jesus should be pretty simple.  It's not like the OT with a whole bunch of rules and regulations.  It's pretty simple.  Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior.  Stay in the Word and pray.  Stay focused on Jesus.

The warning is to guard against anyone that tries to make it more complicated.  Satan is the Lord of deception.  It's hard to be deceived when things are simple.  Satan can only deceive you by making things more complicated than it needs to be. 

So as you enjoy your walk with Jesus, remember Simplicity is the word of the day!
