Shaken Together and Running Over

This is one of my favorite verses.

Luke 6:38(NKJV)

38Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

Be generous, cheerfully generous.  The more you give the more you get.  It's as close to a perpetual motion machine as you will ever get. 

Does that mean if you give a dollar you are going to get back ten?  Maybe, maybe not.  What I'll guarantee you is that whatever you get back you will value and enjoy way more that what you gave up.
